FAQ

What’s the difference between Office 2016 and Office 365?
The main difference between the two Office products is, that Office 365 is a subscription (= bought only for an exact period of time) while Office 2016 is a lifetime license (= you only pay once and that’s it). Both of them contain Office applications like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. Office 365 gets regular updates and will continue to get them in the future, while the updates and support for Office 2016 are time limited. Either way, Office 2016 is a significantly cheaper choice.

What is the difference between volume and retail license?
Some of our products like Office 2016 Home and Student are a retail license and some like Office 2016 Professional Plus are a volume license. The main difference is, that the volume licenses are suited for company use while the retail licenses are aimed at casual users.
The retail license can be used only on one device at any one time, but it can be installed, re-installed, or uninstalled as many times as you want. Once you buy this license, it’s yours forever.
The volume license has extended user rights, which means that one user can work with the software on multiple devices. Also, the products can be activated on large amount of devices at the same time by automated software activation. These licenses are compatible with Remote Desktop Services and can be easily managed by a Volume Activation Management Tool.
Important: The volume software licenses aren't compatible with the retail versions. That means that, for example, you can't install Microsoft Office Home and Business (retail license) and Project Professional (volume license) on the same computer.

When will my order arrive?
All of our Office products are electronic licenses, which means that you will receive them via e-mail. The speed of the delivery depends on the payment method that you choose while ordering your products. If you pay by a card, your license will arrive within 15 minutes. If you choose the bank transfer, it can take couple of days before we receive your payment, but once we do, we immediately send the license to your e-mail.
